Automatic continuous cycle drilling and filling machine model SMART-V2/PLUS, with 2 filling tools and 3 drills, for the production of radial/parallel brushes up to 400mm and bowl brushes. Machine speed up to 450 RPM (900 tufts/min).
The SMART-V2/PLUS is a vertical machine with 2 filling tools and 3 drills, running in continues cycle. The carriage is moved by 5 axes electronically driven by brushless servomotors and controlled by Personal Computer. This machine can produce many different types of brushes and brooms that have different filling angles, by changing specific equipment: Equipment for radial, parallel and radial/parallel tufted brushes up to a maximum block length of 400 mm and Equipment for bowl brushes (such as WC brushes). Three high speed drills for holes from 2mm up to 8mm. Two staple filling tools driven by twin-cam system; filling tool stroke 60mm (85/140 mm also available) to work with fibre up to 240mm length unfolded (or 300/420 mm with stroke 85/140 mm respectively); filling tool sizes available from 20 to 75. The machine can work all kinds of synthetic fibres as well as natural fibres like Coco and Palmyra. Machine speed up to 450 RPM with stroke 60mm (or 420/330 RPM with stroke 85/140 mm respectively). Centralized and automatic lubrication system.
