STAR-R32-400(CRP)
Automatic 3 stations carousel machine model STAR-R32-400, with 2 filling tools and 2 drills, for the production of brooms and brushes with fibre up to 400mm (15.75’’) length (unfolded), filled with radial, parallel or a combination of radial/parallel tufts. Machine speed up to 380 RPM (760 tufts/min).
The STAR-R32-400 is a carousel machine with 3 stations (blocks loading and off-loading, drilling and filling) which operate simultaneously and are able to handle two pieces at a time. The carriages are moved by 5 axes electronically driven by brushless servomotors and controlled by Personal Computer. The blocks are manually loaded onto the machine. The drilling station is equipped with 2 high speed drilling units. The filling station has two filling tools driven by twin-cam system; filling tool stroke 135mm to work with fibre up to 400mm (15.75’’) length (unfolded); filling tool sizes available from 40 to 80. This machine can work all kinds of synthetic fibres as well as natural fibres like Coco and Palmyra and is ideal for the production of brooms and brushes with long fibre, such as the Angle Brooms. The machine is available in a full automatic version (STAR-R32-400-CRP) that includes all above features plus the automatic feeding of the blocks from a conveyor belt or a tank (an automatic labelling unit is also available upon request) and the automatic transfer of the filled brushes from the off-loading station to a finishing machine. The finishing machine is equipped with the following stations: a trimming station (2 rotary mill trimming units), a flagging station (4 counter-rotating flagging heads), another trimming station (2 rotary trimming heads), and a beating station (2 beating units). The off-loading of the finished brushes is automatic.
