SMART-R2
Fully automatic 4 stations carousel machine model SMART-R2, with 2 filling tools and 2 drills, for the production of different types of brooms and brushes. Machine speed up to 550 RPM (1.100 tufts/min).
Carousel machine with 4 stations performing the following operations: block-loading and labelling, drilling, filling and finishing. The 4 stations operate simultaneously and are able to handle two pieces per station. The carriages are moved by 4 axes, electronically driven by servomotors and controlled by Personal Computer. The block-loading station can be semi-automatic (the blocks are manually loaded onto a conveyor feeder) or automatic (the operator dumps a quantity of blocks into a large container). The drilling station is equipped with 2 electro spindles moved by electronic cams of last generation. The filling station has two filling-tools driven by twin-cam system. The machine has the capability to feed staple-wire or anchor-bar via an electronic wire feeding system. Filling tool stroke 60mm (or 85mm upon request) to work with fibre up to 240mm length (or 300mm with 85mm stroke). Filling tool sizes available from 25 to 75. The finishing station performs the following operations: trimming (with 4 rotary trimming heads), flagging (with 4 flagging heads) and beating (with 2 beating units). The trimming and flagging profiles are electronically controlled and programmable. This fully automatic work cell can be configured in a variety of versions for the production of different types of brooms and brushes by changing the carriages, the block loading station and the finishing station.
